Each cover features a hinged access lid that can be securely locked with a padlock, offering an additional layer of security. The design incorporates adjustable side ventilation, allowing for customizable airflow to suit varying seasonal needs. The inclusion of gas struts facilitates effortless opening of the door, holding it securely in place for safe entry. The design is nearly watertight, adding an extra measure of protection.
Available standard colors for these covers include Black, White, and Gray, with the option for custom colors available upon request.
Assembly of these units is required upon delivery, but it is designed to be straightforward and is anticipated to take no more than 30 minutes. All necessary mounting hardware and detailed instructions are provided. Tools required for installation are listed in the instruction manual.
A 5-year warranty from the manufacturer covers any defects in workmanship.
Instructions for ordering the correct size:
These covers are designed to mount directly onto the smooth, flat surfaces of concrete or wooden well walls at the top. It is important to measure the maximum width and projection of your well to determine the appropriate size cover to order. For accurate sizing, subtract 2 inches from your width measurement and 1 inch from your projection measurement to allow for a slight margin, ensuring the cover fits properly within your well without touching the outer edges. If your well has a short projection, you may opt for the maximum size to ensure coverage.

It is important to note that all covers taper down to an approximate 2-1/2 inch height at the front.
To determine the necessary rear height:
Should the top of your foundation’s crawl space door extend above the top edge of your well walls, the rear height of the cover must exceed this point by at least 1-1/2 inches. This clearance is required to ensure that the existing foundation door can be removed without interference from the new cover’s frame. This measurement will dictate the required rear height for the cover.

Dimensions defined:
- Width: Measured from the left side to the right side.
- Projection: Measured from the back to the front.
- Height: Measured from the top to the bottom at the rear of the cover.
Sizes available for the units include widths ranging from 27 inches to 72 inches, projections from 24 inches to 48 inches, and rear heights from 4 inches to 20 inches. It's important to note that covers with a rear height of 4 inches and 5 inches do not include venting.
