Todd, The cover is great. It took me about 30 minutes to install. It took me longer to go to home depot to get silicone. Now I don\'t have an unsafe rotting piece of plywood covering the hole anymore. I hunted high and low for such a cover. You were the only one I found that had exactly what I was looking for. I have had my Crawlbrella cover for several years now and cannot be MORE pleased with it. I went for too many years with different homemade designs and just could not get all the qualities an outdoor crawlspace opening I needed (Watertight, sturdy, holds up to all seasons, maintenance, style, ease of installation, secure). Mine is horizontal on the patio and there are very few options that I found during my research. I have found the Crawlbrella to meet all those expectations. Watertight I will say that you have to be realistic about this one especially when horizontal. However, I can count on one hand over the years the times there was moisture in the opening and coincided with a handful of Extreme weather events. The amount was generally less than half of a cup. I would suggest a good caulking initially and any follow-up over the years as needed. If you do it well at first, you won’t need to do it every year for sure. Was expensive, but will last as long as the home with limited maintenance.

Just a word or two to express my thanks to you and your company for my crawl space well cover that is already in place. I gave you the size i needed and it was a perfect fit. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. ED.

My old crawl space cover was a disaster! I dreaded every time I had to go near it. It weighed close to 120 pounds and was a royal pain to move and then try to get back into place. I knew there had to be a better solution. Fortunately I found one in Crawl Space Covers of Indiana. I dealt with Todd the owner of the company. He was very responsive to my information requests and put together a professional proposal for a custom cover designed to my exact dimensions. I had a lot of questions and Todd was very patient in answering each and every one. I was interested in an all black cover and he worked with me to find appropriate all black hardware (rivets and hinges). The end product was a work of art. I’ll let the picture speak for itself. The dimensions were perfect as was the quality of construction. The cover is not inexpensive but as Aldo Gucci said “Quality in remembered long after price is forgotten.” As you can tell I am extremely pleased with my custom cover and would highly recommend Custom Covers, Inc..
